Julius was born May 29, 1930 in Crescent, Iowa to the late Winfield and Clara Bell (Mings) Snyder.
Julius married Ruth Weldon on February 9, 1952. They were married for 54 years until Ruth passed away on September 9, 2006. He retired in 1992 as a school bus driver from Underwood Schools. He worked as a mechanic and for the Burlington Northern Railroad.
Julius was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Snyder (2006), sons: Paul Snyder (1992) and Jim Snyder (2002), and brothers: Ed and Claude Snyder.
Julius will be sadly missed by his daughters: Sue Howard and husband Bix, and Joyce Snyder, sons: David Snyder and wife Pam, Tom Snyder and wife Cheri, Don Snyder and friend Cindy, and Mike Snyder and wife Becky; 14 grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
